Richard R. Smith is the Principal of Adjusters International/Basloe, Levin & Cuccaro. A specialist in property, business income, and extra expense claims recoveries, he has been instrumental in helping clients recover from losses of virtually every type—including fire, flood and hurricane damages from such major storms as Jean, Frances, and Charlie in 2004; Katrina and Wilma in 2005; Ike in 2008; Superstorm Sandy in 2012; and the New York State Floods of 2006.
As a lead adjuster, Mr. Smith has been involved in the settlement of numerous property and business interruption losses. He has presented expert testimony in losses on multiple occasions.
