Disaster recovery consulting firm Adjusters International/Basloe, Levin & Cuccaro (AI/BLC) has expanded their professional staff, hiring licensed public adjuster Nancy Black. With over 15 years of experience, Black has expertise in handling large and complex claims. She has worked primarily in Westchester County, Long Island and New York City. AI/BLC is one of the largest public adjusting firms in the Northeast with over 20 licensed public adjusters and some seven offices.

Black was personally affected by Hurricane Sandy in 2012, losing her home, car and most of her possessions to the disaster. Putting her own troubles aside, she set up an impromptu parking-lot office to assist neighbors with free claims assistance. After 9/11, Black—who has also been a volunteer firefighter in the New York City area for over 15 years—directed teams through a number of projects and acted as the lead adjuster on a multistory structure loss. Her commitment to community service continued in this leadership role during the recovery.

Black works from Adjusters International/Basloe, Levin & Cuccaro's offices at: 125 Wolf Road, Suite 214, Albany, NY. Adjusters International/Basloe, Levin & Cuccaro has been assisting policyholders since 1908 and has New York offices in Albany, Springville, Syracuse, and Utica as well as Portland, Maine; Nashua, New Hampshire and Scranton, Pennsylvania.
